Greetings and Salutations Fuzzfreaks worldwide!

Big news to report! Filming for the often-anticipated, long-awaited Fuzztones documentary has been completed with the goal of a November 2024 release. The film will be released by Chip Baker Films, who - along with director Danny Garcia - are responsible for great rockumentaries on Stiv Bators, Sid Vicious, Brian Jones, Johnny Thunders, The Clash, Max’s Kansas City and the Chelsea Hotel. We’ve already seen the rough cut and can verify 100% that this film will blow your mind! Besides input from some rather impressive rock celebs (IAN ASTBURY and Jane County to name a few), many former Fuzztones are featured in live footage and interviews, such as Deb O’ Nair, Michael Jay, Randy Pratt, Mad Mike, Chris Harlock, Phil (Batlord) Arriagada, Andrea Kusten, Ramiro Nieto, Fez Wrecker, Casanova Carlucci, Lana Loveland, Surrealistic Pille, as well as current members Marco Rivagli, Pablo Rodas, Nico Secondini and Marcello Salis. The film also includes rare footage of Rudi’s pre-Fuzztones band, Tina Peel, along with interviews from former Peel-ers Dave U Hall, Rowdy Doody and Arno Hecht, as well as rare footage of Rudi’s other bands, “Vulcan Death Grip” and “The Drive-Ins”!

Plans are also afoot to release a soundtrack album to coincide with the film’s release.

The last footage shot for the film came from several live shows the band did in Spain in February, where the band also filmed their first professional video in 34 years! The song - performed in the desert! - is their latest original, “Barking Up The Wrong Tree” from their album,“Encore.”

And on the subject of new videos, Danny Garcia has also constructed a new video from live footage and old movie clips for “Born To Be Wild,” the band’s collaboration with the legendary Ann Margret!

In other news Germany’s legendary Rock concert TV show, Rockpalast, will soon be releasing the Fuzztones 2009 Rockpalast concert on DVD as well as other digital sources!
 

On the gig front, the Fuzztones will be headlining the Rockin' Fest festival in Madrid on Friday, June 14th. Meanwhile plans are being discussed for a tour of Mexico and South America in November.
