Greetings and Salutations Fuzz Freaks!!!
The NYC premier was particularly inspiring, as former Fuzztones Deb O’ Nair, Randy Pratt and Andrea Kusten joined former Tina Peel members Arno Hecht and David (Rick O’ Shea) Hall for the Q&A segment, followed by a jam session featuring Andrea’s new band, Psych Meds. The Oslo premier was significant as well, due to Rudi attending for the screening and subsequent Q&A, followed by a guest appearance with Norway’s High Octane Boys. Winding up Fuzz Month, Deb made another guest appearance at the Harrisburg premier, with plans to also attend the DC premier in the future.
Meanwhile Rudi has just finished the cover sleeve for the upcoming DVD release of the film,which will include extras such as more interview footage and all existing Fuzztones promo videos from 1984 to present.
Rudi has also finished compiling the film’s double LP soundtrack album, which will also be entitled “Fuzztones vs The World,” with a planned release date to coincide with the release of the DVD.
More big news!!! Cleopatra Records plans to release a new Fuzztones album, entitled “Buried Treasure,” which is comprised entirely of never-before-released studio recordings of Fuzztones favorites (most of which were recorded not by the line-up who recorded it originally but by subsequent line-ups). And just to sweeten the deal, two (well, one-and-a-half) brand new songs are included!!!! And for those who simply cannot wait to get yer mitts on this masterpiece, it’s already available on the band’s Bandcamp page!
By the way, we’re always trying to update our Bandcamp page, so check it out regularly for new releases!!! For instance, we just added "Live at Rockpalast"!!!

Last but not least, THE FUZZTONES VS THE WORLD will be premiering in Belgium at Club 52 on May 2.
